In our Privacy Policy we explain how we collect, use and protect information. Furthermore, we explain your choices regarding publicly available information on your profile.

Our policy applies to all visitors, users, and others who access our Platform ("Users").

By using our Platform, you understand and agree that publicly available User Content may be searched and viewed by others in accordance with our Terms and Conditions (available under Rulebook).

1. Information we collect

We collect the following types of information.

  • When you register for a profile, we receive your first and last name, password (encrypted), and email address. This information enables us to assign you more quickly in the event of a forgotten login.

  • The profile information you provide for your user profile (e.g., date of birth, body size, bodyweight, Instagram Account name & nationality).

  • User content (e.g. results, Instagram post link, profile picture) that you post on our profile. If you are uploading profile pictures to this website, you should avoid uploading photos with an EXIF GPS location. • Communications between you and Showdown. For example, we may send you emails related to your profile (e.g., account confirmations, changes/updates to Platform features, technical and security notices). Note that you cannot unsubscribe from profile-related emails.

  • We also collect the visitor's IP address and the user agent string (this identifies the browser), which help to better detect spam.

We may also collect similar information from emails sent to our users, which allows us to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. This information allows us to report more accurately, helping to improve the Platform.

These tools collect information sent by your device or our platform to help us improve the platform. We collect and use this analytics information, along with analytics information from other users, in a way that cannot reasonably be used to identify any particular individual user.
